Silverado EV Range & Charging

With an expansive range spanning 400 miles, Ottawa drivers can tow to Chicago and travel across most of Illinois on a single charge.

Recharging is fast and simple, as Illinois DC Public Fast Charging stations can add 100 miles of range every 10 minutes. Utilize Level 1 Home Charging with 120-volt household outlets, which are ideal if you're making short daily commutes around Streator. Rely on Level 2 Home Charging with 240-volt appliance outlets for the fastest charging times at your Pontiac home.

Silverado EV Performance

This all-electric truck is a performance marvel, producing 660 horsepower and 780 pound-feet of torque with wide-open watts. The Silverado EV RST model touts a 10,000-pound maximum towing capacity, while the future WT model doubles that towing capability to 20,000 pounds.

Ottawa drivers will appreciate this truck's smaller turning radius, making the Silverado EV more agile than its sibling. There's also an available Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension that comfortably glides over any terrain. It takes only 4.5 seconds for the Silverado EV to reach 60 miles per hour.

Silverado EV Utility & Design

The Chevy Silverado EV's Standard Bed measures 71 inches and can fit most of your gear. If Ottawa drivers have longer objects, they can put the unique Multi-Flex Midgate with Pass-Through to good use. This allows objects up to 10 feet long to pass through the Multi-Flex Tailgate and load stop. Other gear up to nine feet long can fit in the bed when Illinois drivers use the 60/40 flip-and-fold seat. There's still plenty of rear passenger room, too.

In addition to a versatile truck bed and sleek design looks, the Silverado EV offers a spacious frunk. No engine and the Ultium Platform offer Oglesby drivers the convenience of a front-end trunk.

Additional design bonuses include 24-inch aluminum wheels, an aerodynamic design, and modern lighting. The panoramic fixed glass roof, which provides a bright and roomy feel to the Silverado's cabin.

This EV is built on the Ultium groundbreaking all-new battery platform that gives the Silverado redefined power, force, and flexibility.

Silverado EV Safety & Technology

Dwight drivers can take advantage of Ultifi for in-vehicle connectivity and access. This all-electric truck offers Google built-in connectivity for Maps and Google Play, along with a 17-inch diagonal free-form screen.

Thanks to Super Cruise™ Driver Assistance Technology, you can experience hands-free driving and trailering across Illinois with 200,000 miles of U.S. compatible roads. There are several driver-assist technologies thanks to the standard Chevy Safety Assist suite, which includes:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Front Pedestrian Braking
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  • Forward Collision Alert
  • IntelliBeam® High Beam Assist
  • Following Distance Indicator
